Former President Ronald Reagan called the Republican Assembly \u201cthe Conscience of the Republican Party,\u201d <\/strong>and over the years we\u2019ve lived up to the reputation through our chapters\u2019 tireless political productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freedom for each person to bring benefit in the best way one believes is critical for the well being of the individual <\/strong>as well as the whole<\/strong> of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help the Republican Party live up to the lofty ideals of the Republican Party platform and the principles of the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The ALRA is the official state-level affiliate chapter of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies<\/a> (NFRA), referred to as the National Republican Assembly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NFRA is a national conservative grassroots organization with origins tracing back to state-level Republican Assembly groups established in California during the 1930s. The organization advocates for consistently conservative values within the Republican Party, including constitutional governance, limited government, reduced taxation, a robust national defense, pro-life principles, and the protection of Second Amendment rights. The NFRA describes itself as the “conscience of the Republican Party<\/em>” and the “Republican wing of the Republican Party<\/em>,” prioritizing the election of principled conservatives, expressing opposition to moderate or establishment Republicans and seeking to advance reform within the GOP rather than forming an alternative party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an affiliate, the Alabama Republican Assembly operates as the state chapter under the NFRA’s umbrella structure. This relationship means the ALRA aligns with the NFRA’s mission and principles, participates in its national network, and benefits from shared resources, coordination, and representation. The ALRA engages in local grassroots activism, candidate endorsements, voter mobilization, and efforts to influence the Alabama Republican Party toward more conservative policies and candidates. The ALRA holds chapter meetings, supports conservative causes, and has historically endorsed figures aligned with Reagan-era conservatism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
